Prerequisite: Completion of Licensed Massage Therapy training or other Professional Health-care training certification.

Reiki is an ancient healing technique that is simple, gentle and natural. Reiki is the ‘perfect’ complement to massage or bodywork. Reiki therapy enables a deeper more productive client/therapist healing experience.   

Many well-known spas now offer Reiki treatments. Of Forbes' 10 "Most Luxurious Spas in the U.S.," four offer Reiki, and all the others offer a massage that incorporates Reiki, "energy work" or "chakra balancing:"      

The U.S. is slow to follow any trends that are not surgical or pharmaceutically based though in recent years more research studies have been conducted into the efficacy of Reiki in the medical setting and there are a growing number of hospitals now offering Reiki sessions to patients for a multitude of health concerns.

• Reiki - Healthcare/Research – Opportunities as a Reiki Therapist 
  

• The Auric Body System (subtle energies of the body)
  

• The Seven Major Chakras
  

• Reiki II Attunement
  

• The Reiki Power Symbol (practical uses and techniques)
  

• The Reiki Mental/Emotional Symbol  (practical uses and techniques)
  

• The Reiki Long Distance Symbol  (practical uses and techniques)
  

• Using Reiki in Massage or Bodywork
  

• Pumping up your resume with Reiki
  

• After your Training
  

At completion of 2-day class - therapists will receive Certification of Reiki LMT (equivalent of Reiki I and Reiki II and 12 TX LMT CEU's) Comprehensive manual is included with this class.
